We are passionate and committed to excellence because we are serving a group of people for whom there’s not nearly enough dedicated housing and support. Historically, most people with disabilities live with their parents until their parents can’t take care of them anymore, at which point there aren’t many good options that are affordable. Or, you might have someone in their twenties or thirties with cerebral palsy who has to live in a senior development, and they want to be with people their own age. And sadly, there are thousands in California alone that are living on the streets with no one to fight for them while they try to take on an unforgiving world alone and disabled.
With Congregate Connect adults with disabilities WILL find supportive housing in a community fitting each to their own.
The Right To Have A Home
People with Intellectual and developmental disabilities, like all Americans, have a right to live in their own homes, in the community. Adults should control where and with whom they live, including having opportunities to rent their own homes in safe neighborhoods.

Adult Residential FAcilities
Congregate Connect develops quality adult residential facilities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are committed to maximizing each individual’s lifelong independence in a community environment that fosters dignity and respect, as well as personal and spiritual growth.
Adult Programming & Employment Centers
Congregate Connect's Adult Programming & Employment Centers are designed to enable and teach adults with developmental disabilities to function successfully in the mainstream of the community by maximizing self-determination, self-care, direction, freedom of choice, developing new skills and finding activities they enjoy.
Supportive living services (sls) & Independent living services
While some of our I/DD residents may be needing to live with others for one reason or another, other individuals make progress and are ready and able to live more independently in their very own apartment home. Congregate Connect is happy to offer that Supportive living services (SLS) & Independent living services as an option of living as well to accommodate those adults ready for that next big life step...
Person-Centered Planning
Person Centered Planning is an ongoing problem-solving process Congregate Connect uses to help people with disabilities plan for their future. In person centered planning, groups of people focus on an individual and that person's vision of what they would like to do in the future.
